Simon Clark / Ian Cozier
Simon
first got the rally bug after attending a half day at Vision Motorsport, where he was fortunate enough to meet Andy
Corner, the man who gave Simon the help and encouragement to get his own car and go out there and do it!
He has now been competing since 2003. Many may remember Simon’s first car, an old Alfa Sud, this car was asked NOT to
come back to Oakington so a race was on to find a newer model!
Simon and Emma managed to scrape the funds together for Simon’s current car, a Vauxhall Astra 2.0L 16 V beauty! The
car was originally used as the 2002 Network Q Course Opening car.
The
car was fairly standard when bought but has undergone several changes since including throttle bodies, an ECU fitted,
uprated brakes and Bilstein suspension. Simon and Emma now rally under the name 6th-sense motorsport www.6th-sense.co.uk.
Simon would like to thank Emma, his mum & dad and Andy for making his dreams start to come true!!
