Following the success of last year's gliding evening we have another
club trip to Windrushers Gliding Club booked for this year.
It will take place on: -
Wednesday, 7th July
starting at 5:00pm
(or earlier if we can get enough people)
The cost is £35 (£25 for TMC members) for a trial flight & BBQ. There will be the option of a
2nd flight for just £10 extra for those who want another go.
(time permitting).
This compares with £75 for a standard introductory flight. All flights are winch launched to a height
of between 800 and 1500 feet depending on weather conditions.
The event is open to people who meet the following restrictions: -
Minimum age: 14
Maximum height: 6' 3" (1.90m)
Maximum weight: 16st. (101.6kg)
Spectators are welcome to attend at a cost of £7 each for the BBQ.
There is a bar in the club room.
