Cold Turkey and Old Bangers Autotest 2003

A cold and later wet day was in store for the bleary eyed members out for this seasonal jolly. A first for
TMC in that all the cars were provided, so no excuses for the equipment!
A closely fought battle for the event, with only 13 seconds between 1st and 4th. Tests 2 & 5 seemed to
sort the men from the boys, with plenty taking maximums (getting lost!). There were a series of close battles down the
list - Duncan and Dan were split by 0.5 seconds at 1/2 way, and the lead was extended to only 1.5 seconds at the end
between 3rd and 4th place. Similarly Eddie and Julz had a to-do, Julz leading by 1.5s at halfway, but Eddie winning by
1.6s, all on test 6!
A big thank-you to Pat Jackson for the use of his cones, two FWD cars and supply of hot coffee and tea on
a cold day! Many thanks also to Vision Motor Sport for the use of the four Cops & Robbers cars. Also thanks to Andi,
Duncan, Andy C, James for towing said C&R to event. Last and not least to the hardy marshals - James, Brian and Andy
Cadle.
